Samuel Gavin Lewis
Son of Hephaestus
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Samuel Gavin Lewis sits on his bunk, surrounded by various blue prints, pencils, and notebooks. On his lap, his his Apple Laptop. On the screen is a picture of a war chariot. Sam is attempting to design it. However he just can not get the design right. Sighing he slams his fist down on the keyboard, accidentally closing out of his program. "NO NO NO"he yells, out of frustration. Sam then scrambles to open the program. Opening it, he finds his design gone. Damnit.

Sighing Sam runs his fingers through his hair. He can't deal with this anymore, he just needs a break. Standing up, he grabs his laptop, and a pair of headphones. Sam then turns, and walks out of his cabin. Not really paying attention to where he goes, Sam ends up at the lake. Sighing he sits down in the sand, and opens his laptop. Plugging in the headphones, he pulls them over his ears. He then clicks on the itunes icon, scrolling through his playlist he stops on Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons.

Smiling Sam, re-enters the program he was using earlier. Sam then starts again on the designing of the chariot. Once he think's he's done, Sam makes sure to save the design. Exiting out of the app, he turns off the computer and puts it away. Standing up the boy kicks off his shoes. Slowly he walks towards the water. He wades into the water, stopping right before the water reaches his knees. He picks up a rock, and skips it across the water.

Claude really had no intentions to do anything productive for the day. He had to take a break from all of this demigod business, even if it was all inevitable.
The boy was stressed, examining the palms of his hands in desperate determination. Why? Why can't he configure this entire power shabang? He'd been living for at least 16 years of his time and not a patch of frost has ever gotten out of his fingertips.
He looked over at the large body of water which was a few meters away from him. He sighed, knowing that there were other children of Khione who were powerful enough to at least freeze a bit of that lake water.
He scampered over to the lake side, wanting to cool off his feet in the stream. He glanced over at another boy, who pretty much to the time to take his technology outside just so he can play with it a bit more. His mother would have went off her head about that, ranting about how this generation sucks and nobody ever wants to kick a ball around anymore.
He chuckled, looking back on that little fact. He does miss his parents, a lot. He doesn't think he can speak for the others around, since they seem so accustomed to this dangerous summer camp life.
After taking his shoes off, he dipped his feet into the cool stream, feeling the water rush by.
He was simply in a state of calamity. He turned over again to see the boy skipping rocks on the lake. In his convenience, there were an abundance of smooth rocks right by his side. He picked one up, and tried to skip it over the lake as well. But if it was possiblem his rock could have collided with the other boy's.
